All good things...
My brief return to service in the Holy Land has come and gone, and I made my way back to my hometown in California a few days ago. I traveled on Turkish Airways from Tel Aviv to Istanbul to Chicago to San Francisco. In the few days I've been back I've been preparing for classes, unpacking my boxes and suitcases, and reconnecting with family in the area. We shall see what the days ahead have in store. But one thing I've noticed: when people ask me, "Are you back for good?", my response is not, "Yes", but rather, "For the time being." I figure I might be able to stand it here for a little while if I remind myself that it's not forever.

I know exactly what you mean about the whole "Are you back for good" situation :) I'm still finding that out for myself :) You take care there and keep in touch!
